The aim of this course is to develop students’ overall English language competence with an emphasis on grammatical accuracy, lexical development, and oral fluency. Assessment is based on active participation, which requires consistent preparation, completion of homework, and regular attendance (no more than six absences permitted). Additional optional tasks on Moodle may be completed for extra credit. Progress will further be evaluated through two progress tests (mid-term and end-term) and three shorter quizzes designed to monitor continuous development. Progress tests cannot be retaken, while one quiz may be retaken in the final lesson.
